Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Renton, Washington

Description We are searching for a Patient Service Representative to join our team in Renton, Washington. In this position, you will be responsible for handling and routing inbound calls from patients, providing medical assistance, and documenting interactions in our EMR system. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely in a healthcare tech start-up industry that provides in-home adult care.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and route inbound calls from patients ensuring all queries are resolved efficiently.

• Provide necessary medical assistance to patients and guide them through enrollment processes.

• Document all patient interactions and other relevant information in the EMR system.

• Work closely with our primary care team to ensure all emergency service calls are redirected appropriately.

• Schedule routine follow-ups and prescription refills for patients.

• Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions to ensure patient privacy.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, listening to their needs, and directing them to the appropriate services.

• Collaborate with various teams and departments to ensure a smooth and coordinated approach to patient care.

• Utilize the MS Office Suite for various administrative tasks related to patient care.

• Maintain a high level of reliability in call routing and customer service.

This role requires skills in answering inbound calls, working in an inbound call center, maintaining HIPAA compliance, patient access, and scheduling patient appointments. It also requires knowledge of primary care. Requirements • Proficiency in answering inbound calls in a high-volume setting

• Experience in an inbound call center environment

• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA Compliance - Patient Privacy Rule

• Familiarity with patient access procedures and policies

• Ability to schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately

• Experience in a primary care setting is advantageous

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Proficiency in using computer systems and software

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures

• High level of reliability and punctuality.
