Description

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently partnering with a large manufacturing organization that is looking to hire a talented and driven Controller. This role involves oversight of the accounting and finance for a region to include month end close, financial variance analysis and partnering with operations. You will be responsible for providing financial supporting to ensuring company-issued policies and procedures are applied consistently. This is a hybrid position based in the Rocklin, CA area. Responsibilities:

• Provide financial support

• Oversight of the local division in completing month end close duties.

• Ensure consistent application of company-issued policies and procedures

• Assist in identifying and implementing best practices

• Participate in explaining business results, assisting with research of variations from prior periods, recording journal entries, and performing reconciliations for assigned accounts

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Manage the overall credit and collection functions, including enforcing credit policies, and determining credit risk

• Review company contracts in accordance with the corporate contracts.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, or Accounting required.

• Master's degree or CPA are preferred

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are needed

• Supervisory experience is required.
