The Department of Dermatology of the University of Utahs School of Medicine is looking for motivated candidates who are interested in academic medicine to enter the Advanced Practice Clinician Dermatology Fellowship. The fellowship is designed to accommodate one to two fellows every 12 months to provide the opportunity for comprehensive training in dermatology, to broaden and strengthen knowledge, and to help develop an analytical and systematic approach in diagnosing and caring for dermatology patients. Fellows will rotate in various dermatology general and specialty clinics, and Rapid Access Dermatology Clinic. Our goal is to help build confident providers with effective communication skills who are capable of advancing to take on full responsibility and autonomy in patient care.This position is responsible for providing both primary and specialty medical services. This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to state law.This position is benefitted but is time-limited for one year. The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete a six month probationary period and potentially up to nine months.
