Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in San Antonio, Texas

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves managing the full accounting cycle in a dynamic environment, providing accurate financial insights to management, and maintaining organized financial records and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely financial insights to management.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.

• Process payroll, including calculating wages, taxes, and deductions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

• Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures, including adjusting journal entries and accruals.

• Assist with audit preparations and respond to inquiries from auditors as needed.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

• Utilize various accounting software systems including QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage 100, and others for efficient and accurate accounting operations.

• Perform accounts payable and receivable functions, bank reconciliations, and billing functions as part of the overall accounting responsibilities.

• Use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Office Suites for efficient data management and communication.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations

• Familiarity with billing functions

• Ability to handle full charge bookkeeping responsibilities.
