Amazon Customer Experience Strategist, 3PX - Private Pricing Customer Experience & Adoption in Seattle, Washington

Description

Are you a forward-thinker, energized by the dynamic interplay between the big picture and the finest details? Do you have a knack for challenging the art of the possible to craft experiences that transcend expectations and redefine excellence? Are you eager for an opportunity to join a global team focused on driving value to our customers and Amazon Web Services (AWS)? AWS is seeking a talented Design Strategist to join the Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team.

In this role, you will apply human-centric approaches to strategic initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional groups across UX research, product management, and stakeholders across the Private Pricing organization. As a driver of cross-functional and highly visible initiatives, you will be responsible for designing the features of the program and how people, products, and technology come together to provide value to our Private Pricing customers. You will operationalize data, including Voice of Customer, UX research insights, and operational & commercial data, to define and invent creative solutions. You will work backwards from the customer through discovery, design, and execution and coordinate end-to-end activities for select launches.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both B2B and B2C settings with a proven ability to document the customer experience with human-centric tools and methods to identify gaps and opportunities. You will work collaboratively to ideate and prototype solutions. By understanding and improving the customer experience, you will unlock efficiencies in the Private Pricing deals process, improve existing features, and implement new features to be used by the sales team that drive value for the Private Pricing team and, in turn, end customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Application of human-centric approaches for strategic initiatives with cross-functional groups across 3PX and Private Pricing operationalizing data (i.e. Voice of Customer, UX research insights, operational & commercial data) to define and invent creative solutions

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously. For select launches, coordinate end-to-end activities with teams across and external to GDSP to execute against timelines.

• Use expertise and judgment to work across teams for complex initiatives; work backwards from the customer through discovery, design, and execution.

• Clearly and persuasively present both vision and related details to 3PX, product and engineering teams, business stakeholders, and senior leaders for decisions and prioritization

• Define and communicate a clear, comprehensive roadmap and schedule, and drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements with limited guidance

• Optimize procedures, process, and best practices, working collaboratively with other teams in AWS, leveraging existing templates and data to incorporate user feedback, technical constraints, business analytics, and usability findings into design and to keep other teams informed

• Effectively apply project management skills across difficult initiatives, when necessary, making appropriate tradeoffs between time, quality, and resources

• Define, measure, and analyze post-launch metrics to continuously optimize design and end to end experience
