About the Role In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to deliver exceptional customer interactions and provide consultative advice to enhance healthcare outcomes. Your contribution will be crucial in improving employee well-being, customer satisfaction, and reducing healthcare costs. Responsibilities Completing comprehensive health care training covering basic health care terminology and advanced medical procedure cost analysis. Training includes understanding medical, dental, vision, and voluntary benefits to effectively consult members on complex healthcare matters. Serving as a patient advocate daily, representing patients from all perspectives within the healthcare industry. Conducting provider research, offering high-quality care recommendations, performing cost comparisons, and analyzing medical bill processing. Handling incoming calls via a call center application while simultaneously conducting research and communicating directly with customers. Utilizing trained methodologies, internal tools, and external communication to resolve customer requests. Utilizing outstanding communication skills to understand and address complex client needs. Employing problem-solving abilities to enhance the entire healthcare journey for employees. Sharing insights with clients to assist them in advancing their benefits strategy beyond initial training. Having ability to receive and immediately apply constructive feedback to improve service delivery Demonstrating a passion for helping others and develop relationships based on empathy and trust. Requirements Have 3 years of professional experience in benefits OR health industry positions OR Associates with 2 years of experience OR Bachelors. Display Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Able to work effectively in a team environment . Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate and convey complex concepts both verbally and in writing. Possess ability to learn continually in a changing environment. Able to manage difficult tasks and multiple projects effectively . Demonstrate ability to address customer requests to ensure that contract service levels and objectives are met. Possess Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
