Job Description: Research, design, and develop computer and network software and specialized utility programs. Analyze, design, and develop tests and test-automation suites. Develop, build, and elevate software solutions. Collaborate cross-functionally with fellow engineers, product owners, sysops, and architecture to achieve elegant solutions. Participate in SAFe Agile practices and reviews. Build strong product knowledge. Follow proper development guidelines in coordination with the software development life cycle. Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms. Provide code reviews and approve pull requests that have followed best practices. Have a strong understanding of the team's applications and how to debug them. Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective solutions that lead to customer satisfaction. Support and mentor other software engineers by providing advice, knowledge sharing, and best practices. Assist in on-boarding new engineers. Provide consistent code review comments. Demonstrate solutions by developing flowcharts, diagrams, and proper documentation. Telecommuting permitted.

Job Requirements:  Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or in a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

Special Requirements: Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills:

1. Web based and web service applications using .NET (WCF and ASP.NET) and Microsoft SQL Server
2. Source repository tools such as TFS and Source Depot
3. Designing and developing pipelines using Cosmos, SCOPE, C# and Baja
4. Using tools such as VSO, GIT, TFS for source repository, bug tracking and project planning
5. Designing and developing frameworks to provide common solutions
6. Operating in Agile framework

7. Tools and technologies such as Spark, Azure Databricks, Scala, Spark SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Python
