Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Solon, Ohio

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in SOLON, Ohio. The HR Manager will be actively involved in strategic planning with the leadership team, addressing complex HR issues, managing talent acquisition, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, talent management, and employment law.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the leadership team to comprehend and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy

• Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive HR issues

• Manage the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, specifically for managerial, exempt, and professional roles

• Research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to attract and retain top talent

• Develop learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees

• Handle employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices

• Keep abreast of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

• Utilize HRMS and ADP - Financial Services for managing HR functions

• Administer benefits coordination, benefits administration, and 401k - RRSP administration

• Oversee full cycle recruiting using Paycom. Requirements • Proven experience in Human Resources Management or similar role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and Paycom

• Solid understanding of HRMS and Full Cycle Recruiting

• Experience in Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, and Compliance

• Strong knowledge of Employee Relations

• Ability to coordinate Benefits Administration and 401k - RRSP Administration

• Excellent skills in Benefits Coordination

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills

• Knowledge of labor laws and human resources best practices

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
