What you will do: Technical/Operational Consultation Develop and drive long range business plans, ensure a strong linkage between long term operational and commercial strategic objectives for the business. Research, identify and develop business opportunities and the necessary manufacturing capability needed to deliver to new products to market; collaborate across the division to gain alignment; develop & execute project plans supporting the 3+year strategy for the PPD business. Actively participate with sales, supply chain and operations in both product development and long-term capacity investment processes to ensure alignment with capabilities, customers, and market requirements to meet expected growth and financial objectives. Provide insights on available capacity, manufacturing capability, and product quality to meet tomorrow's demands; establish multi-year strategies. Leverage engineering technical experts with sales & marketing to identify market opportunities. Customer Focus Acts as customer advocate, able to provide operations a complete understanding of customer needs. Assists in the development of appropriate customer-related substrate and product specifications. Conducts pro-active customer calls to build relationships with customers and develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's processes and substrate requirements. Leadership Foster an environment that encourages employee engagement through demonstration and modeling of Clearwater Paper's Core Values Drive a culture of collaboration throughout sales, marketing, operations, and engineering across the division. Enable technical sustainment plans by promoting developing and transferring knowledge across work groups.
