  • Works cross-functionally with leadership to ensure alignment of the company's strategy and objectives with quality system policies and practices.
  • Leads the ongoing development and implementation of Nintendo's Quality Program by working cross functionally to institutionalize processes and practices throughout the company and supply base.
  • Manages quality control activities within the organization providing functional direction and guidance to the department staff.
  • Manages new supplier onboarding by surveying, auditing, and recommending new vendors to procurement teams.
  • Manages vendors by providing performance and root cause analysis, and onsite audit support.
  • Coordinates with engineering to issue and maintain inspection records, reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Applies various methodologies and tools and to analyze processes to determine the effectiveness of the quality system and identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improving operational performance.
  • Forecasts work volume and staffing levels. Responsible for budget and resource planning.
