The City of St. Charles Street Division is seeking qualified candidates to staff Clean Team positions to pick up and bag trash, refuse, and debris lying in and along City right-of-ways. This position is part-time and will not exceed 1,499 hours of work per year.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up and bag trash, refuse and debris lying in and along City right-of-ways.

  Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

• Valid Missouri Driver's License and

• Passing a pre-employment drug test.

• Passing a background check.

  Physical Abilities Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

• Ability to perform difficult manual labor for prolonged periods of time in severe weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, sleet, etc. while, either alone or in combination thereof, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

• Ability to frequently lift and carry equipment and materials weighing 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 100 pounds, a minimum distance of 10 feet.
