Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

Medical Affairs, eMS, Oncology

Specialty: Oncology

Specific Job Requirements

・This position reports to the Oncology Associate Director or Director, reporting to the head of Oncology Medical Affairs in Japan.

・The responsibility of eMS is to provide scientific/medical guidance throughout product life cycle to the stakeholders in collaboration and close communication with the Japan Medical Affairs members, global/Asia Medical Affairs and other key functions. Primary responsibilities are as follow:

・Response to provide scientific information and data upon request and answer to questions in response to issues that arise from Oncology OLs via e-mail or web meeting. (no F2F communication)

・Develop and execute medical activities, such as medical education, data generation, patient centric activities in alignment with Plan Of Action (POA) and other strategic priorities in closely communicate with the global MA.

・Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in Oncology area.

・Ensure that all interactions and activities in Japan adhere to corporate compliance guidance/rules and industry code of conduct and responses to unsolicited requests for medical/scientific information

Qualification: Specific Education and Experience

Essential:

・Must have strong industry experience (+3 yrs).

・Must have Oncology experience.

・The individual must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Japanese and English along with excellent judgment and ability to work in a team environment.

・Excellent learning agility

Desirable/Preferable

・Advanced degree in life science (PhD, Pharm D, MD) with clinical and research experience in Oncology

・Previous experiences in medical, MSL or R&D in Oncology.

・Demonstrated leadership in ambiguous situations

・Project Management Skills.
