MECHANICAL DRAFTER/DESIGNER

Immediate Contract Need in the Tulsa area!!!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design detailed process and construction drawings and models of complex equipment based on function and client requirements while working in a team environment.

• Attend regular development meetings.

• Address limitations of technologies and materials involved in the CAD process.

• Incorporate feedback into 2D and / or 3D model designs.

• Revise models and drawings as requested.

• Run simulations and stress-tests on models before prototyping.

• Consult with engineers, manufacturing, and other staff while preparing and presenting their drawings.

• Collect site reports, analyze construction codes and client requirements, and make weight, volume, and stress calculations for the materials used.

• Make calculations for shipping and packaging as needed for skids and large equipment.

• Great communications and collaboration skills.

• Incorporate mathematical formulas to create component specifications and reproduce schematics for use within reference materials, such as operations manuals.

• Good problem-solving and analysis skills.

• Ability to project the time required to meet goals, manage time available and prioritize productions based on deadlines.

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  Technical proficiency with Microsoft office.

• Minimum of three years related experience and/or training in pipeline related industry.

• An associate degree in a related field, or relevant experience.

• Initiative-taking and ambitious.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong time management and organization skills.
