About this role

Fireye is looking for a Key Account Manager to join our growing Fireye Sales Team to work remotely from anywhere in Eastern Canada and is willing to travel 50% - 70% of the time in this area.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing our Eastern Canada Market Fireye channel within the Industrial and Commercial Fire Combustion product offerings, also responsible for reporting and strategizing all sales activities to the Senior District Manager and Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key Account development and account management focusing on outside sales

  • Ensure high levels of sales activity with end users, contractors, and consultants working within the commercial and industrial fire combustion market

  • Assist customers with the selection of equipment for projects, alongside the pre-sales application team

  • Communicate across a level of commercial tiers on sales and related projects

  • Calculate and analyze energy and lifecycles to support sales and specification of Fireye solutions

  • Sales and project pipeline management with regular follow-up with contractors and OEMs

  • Proactive approach to the market of commercial and industrial fire combustion products

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of Key Account experience and/or strong network management skills

  • 3+ years of experience in Industrial/Commercial Fire Combustion sales or technician space

  • Able to travel 50% to 70% of the time in Eastern Canada

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Prior knowledge in the Industrial/Commercial Fire Combustion sales or technician space

  • Ability to communicate across a level of commercial tiers

  • Reside close to a major airport in Eastern Canada

  • Management and updating of the sales pipeline

  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar tools and other digital tools suitable for sales i.e., LinkedIn, Microsoft Teams, Excel, & PowerPoint
