Ford Motor Company Analytics Software Engineer in Mexico

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become familiar with the Contentsquare SAS application as it pertains to Ford Credit Applications and website/native app experiences.
  1. Applications include Account Manager, Online Credit Application, Global Financial Calculator, Brand Website, FMCC Native app for iOS/Android,
  • Get Certified on Contentsquare via the CS university Modules or the Degreed Pathway, encourage others to do the same and help upskill product and engineering teams.

  • Work diligently with both Engineering and Product teams to both onboard and re-vitalize usage into the tool including but not limited to various features and functions of the platform;

  1. Dashboarding and workspaces analyzed and delivered to stakeholders

  2. Setup initial mappings of their applications for ease of use based on stakeholder's requirements

  3. Create and Manage Alerting methods for all applications; leveraging slack automation or other.

  4. Create Zonings and Heatmaps based on Stakeholder requirements and share with appropriate members.

  5. Analyze Errors across entire portfolio of applications and products and help narrow down customer frictions to enable Engineering teams speed to fix.

  6. Work with various stakeholders to view and analyze Session replays; Could be for specific errors or work through issues that arise out of the call center and need further review.

  7. Ability to create and send reports out to leadership and make recommendations based on findings across all of our properties to help increase conversions and decrease user frictions.

  8. Perform Data testing as needed to ensure accuracy when compared to Adobe or Splunk as it pertains to data being pulled into the SAS platform. (Mainly new integrations will need this)

  9. Create a methodology to track ROI and integrate with Agile teams in order to create a transparency throughout the organization on the valuable changes we will make. Help negotiate timing and prioritization alongside the current team you will reside on.

  • Onboarding will consist of knowledge with Adobe Launch (Tag Manager) to define custom variables, and PII best practices to stay in compliance with privacy and regulatory parameters.
  1. Be able to Install CS extension on Adobe Property that is in scope, add custom variables and use Data elements to save to the Adobe Library

  2. Be able to mask textual PII data using CSS selectors and validate, add data-cs mask tag to the html element

  • Provide technical leadership to solve issues and remove impediments for all product teams.

  • Leverage our Software Platform “Quantum” to help drive strategy for out of the box Analytics tagging and implementation.

  • Utilize Adobe Launch to deploy and manage analytics, marketing, and advertising tags.

  • Expertise with SQL to handle our structured data with Alteryx to create dashboards that will be visualized in Qliksense or other output tools.

  • Knowledge of big data technologies such as Google Big Query.

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Working in a SaFe Agile Methodology Environment

  • Experience with ETL tools, data modeling, and data warehousing.

  • Strong programing skills in SQL, JS, and HTML

  • Experience with Data Analytics Platforms such as Adobe, Google, and Heap

Technical Skills:

  • Programming Languages:

  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language like Java, Python, or Go.

  • Familiarity with frontend languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Cloud Platforms:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Understanding of cloud-based architecture and services.

Big Data Technologies:

  • Knowledge of big data tools and technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or similar.

  • Ability to work with large datasets and distributed systems.

Databases:

  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.

  • Understanding of database design and optimization principles.

API Development:

  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

  • Understanding of API security best practices.

Testing:

  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., unit testing, integration testing).

  • Experience with automated testing tools.

Version Control:

  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.

Contentsquare Specific Skills:

  • Understanding of Contentsquare platform and its functionalities.

  • Experience with Contentsquare APIs and SDKs.

  • Knowledge of digital analytics and user experience principles.
