Planning and Performance Director

The Planning and Performance Director is responsible for supporting the strategic direction, annual planning, and business change management for the Medicare CAHPS Analytics Team.

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office one day per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Richmond, VA, Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH, Portland, ME, St. Louis, MO, Wallingford, CT, Louisville, KY, Wilmington, DE, Tampa, FL or Nashville, TN.

How you will make an impact:

  • Supports the annual planning efforts and the execution of the 3-year annual business plan of internal customer (National CAHPS Team) that includes internal and external communications and associate engagement activities.

  • Manages a portfolio of priorities within the organization, ensuring execution of priorities, and internal executive communications.

  • Partners with day-to-day execution arm of the team to ensure long-term, foundational capabilities are being developed to enable long-term success of the group.

  • Provides overview of analytical team’s current process and or initiatives including but not limited to progress/deliverables to Senior Leadership Team.

  • Acts as a high-level program manager to the analytical team.

  • Manages program responsibilities such as executive reporting, project communications, management of issues logs and change requests, facilitating project meetings, managing deliverables, and ensuring resolution of escalated issues.

  • Develops and coordinates presentations and materials for executive management meetings, internal and external speaking engagements, and meetings.

  • Manages the implementation and execution of strategy that includes change management, sponsorship and buy-in and advocacy efforts to get business results.

  • Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support for initiatives including regulatory and mandated projects, health care reform special projects, and corporate initiatives.

  • Leads, identifies, tracks and reports on areas for increased efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Experience managing cross-functional strategic planning activities, with multiple parts of a complex organization strongly preferred.

  • Experience with communicating to Senior Leaders within a large company strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicare Stars and/or Medicare CAHPS strongly preferred.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
