Description

We are seeking a diligent Full Charge Bookkeeper to be based in Waynesville/Wilmington, Ohio. This role, which offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, will involve a range of functions within the telecom provider industry, including the use of QuickBooks, posting and reconciliation, payroll data entry, handling cash, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Proficient use of QuickBooks to manage financial records

• Posting and reconciling financial transactions efficiently

• Payroll data entry, specifically with Paychex

• Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records

• Management of inventory based on provided numbers

• Utilizing various software systems, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites for daily tasks

• Performing accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records

• Overseeing billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Proficiency in QuickBooks software

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
