Job Overview

TE Connectivity, Industrial and Commercial Transportation Business Unit, is seeking a Sr. Manager FP&A professional, to provide their financial knowledge and controllership to our Business Development Team. The Business Development Team consists of the Business Development Group and the Business Transformation Office. You will partner with both the Director, Business Development and Business Transformation to support the financial analysis needed to implement the ICT Business development strategy.

Main functions will be to:

  • Implement best practice financial analysis for the ICT Business Development Office based on other TE BU’s in the areas of KPIs definitions, calculation methodology, standard costing and reporting standards.

  • Financially evaluate potential business acquisition targets and provide go/no go guidance.

  • Provide financial guidance for EETC and CVP activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet analyses, incl. but not limited to Manufacturing Variances, Purchase Price Variance, inventory, and costs on profitability of new initiatives for customers.

  • Prepare, perform and validate Forecasting, incl. use of valid modelling methods Provide professional business partnership to the ICT Business development team.

  • Carry out cyclical period end activities.

  • Develop, track, review and report on Business Development KPIs

  • Implement new reporting tools and analytics.

  • Make-or-buy and other business cases, capital investments attractiveness assessments.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelors in finance, accounting or economics

  • 5-7+ years of experience

  • Plant controlling and international corporations environment preferred.

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing organizations and supply chains, manufacturing budgeting, forecast processes, consolidation and functional expenses.

  • Practical knowledge on costing methodologies, overhead cost validation and cost of sales validation

  • Experience in statistical analysis, financial modelling, financial accounting and business case development.

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken.

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills, easy to approach and able to interact with various functions to build professional relationships.

  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good knowledge of at least select reporting platforms (Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI)

  • SAP system knowledge will be preferred.

  • Travel up to 25%

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $143,000 – 213,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
