Google Web Solutions Engineer III, gTech Ads in Wrocław, Poland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.

  • Candidates will typically have 4 years of experience building and testing APIs or web applications.

  • Typically 4 years of experience with a programming language, including Java, JavaScript, Python.

  • Experience in UNIX or GNU/Linux system administration and shell scripting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience in the online advertising industry.

  • Experience with big data platforms and large volume data analytics.

  • Ability to construct complex and efficient SQL queries.

  • Ability to work separately and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Design, build, deploy, and improve elegant, scalable, and modern full-stack web applications using standard software development tools, including ensuring reliable back-ends, building pipelines to aggregate data from multiple sources, implementing responsive and UX-rich front-ends, or enhancing performance of existing tools and services.

  • Analyze problems and develop solutions, while identifying dependencies and resolving issues to drive implementation.

  • Make technical contributions, including writing and reviewing design documents, tests, and code (e.g., JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, SQL).

  • Provide subject-matter expertise and utilize comprehensive knowledge of Google's relevant technologies, principles, practices, and coding standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional users and stakeholders to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions.
